The problem of the impact of family relationships on the self-actualization of primary school teachers
Abstract
Interest in the problem is due to the fact that it is in professional activity that you can achieve
the maximum disclosure of personal potential. Family relations, in turn, form the psychological
space of the personality, which determines the quality of a person’s life, causing his subjective
feeling of satisfaction with himself and others. There is a need to study the psychological
determinants that contribute to maintaining harmonization in family relationships as one of the
factors for successful self-actualization of primary school teachers. The conceptual approaches to
the problem of the content of spousal and child-parent relations in the process of personality
development, which exist in the framework of psychological schools, are examined. It is
determined that the characteristic features of humanistic and existential psychology, where the
main task of family relationships is to promote personal development, self-awareness, future
orientation, the ability to be free and responsible for oneself and the world. Humanistically
oriented principles of family relations are highlighted. A model of the family conditions for
self-actualization of the personality of an elementary school teacher has been developed.
