Mental health of the children with visual impairment in the context of information management in the educational system
Abstract
The article considers the issues of preserving the mental health of children with visual impairments, the process of forming health-preserving skills in children with visual impairments, the formation of cognitive interest in the world in children with visual impairment, development of cognitive processes, development of social activity ideas, the formation of the child's ideas about his physical "I". The purpose of this article is to highlight the areas of work on the formation of the foundations of mental health in children with visual impairments in the process of using information tools, effective use of educational space, mastering the techniques of mental health.
The state of mental health, the full life of a child with visual impairments largely depend on the balance of emotions. Positive emotions ensure the optimal course of mental processes (perception, memory, imagination, thinking), improve the efficiency of intellectual activity and increase the level of personal activity. A positive emotional state contributes to the formation of volitional processes on which depends the successful activity of the individual, including educational activities.
In the process, we used practical-oriented tasks aimed at developing communication skills with others, the formation of knowledge and skills related to their own behavior and maintaining mental health in various life situations. The result is the timely creation of favorable conditions for the mental development of a child with visual impairment, maintaining the mental health of students with visual impairment is the observance of scientifically sound psycho-hygienic norms of schooling, taking into account individual workload standards, mental, physical and social well-being, but also increasing the quality of their own mental health.
