Peculiarities of speech development of children with hearing loss

Abstract

The article considers the peculiarities of speech development of children with hearing loss. The urgency of
studying the outlined problem is indicated. Theoretical analysis of modern scientific and methodological
literature in this area is presented, and insufficient elaboration of the problem at the present stage of
development of education of children with special needs is stated.
The list of factors influencing speech development of children of the specified nosological group is given.
But the features of speech of children with hearing loss are listed.
The conclusions of the article emphasize the importance of improving the speech development of children with
hearing loss by conducting regular correctional classes based on preserved hearing, compliance with natural
communication conditions, the organization of constant communication with peers and adults with hearing loss.
