SPEECH THERAPY SUPPORT IN MODERN SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE: INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES AND THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY SPEECH INTERVENTION
Abstract
The article presents the scientific justification of modern approaches to speech therapy support for children with severe speech disorders. The relevance of the study is due to the increase in the number of children with severe speech disorders, in particular speech disorders in children with cerebral palsy, for whom these disorders are systemic in nature and significantly affect cognitive, emotional-volitional and social development. Speech therapy support is considered as a holistic, continuous and interdisciplinary process aimed at the formation of speech and communicative skills, taking into account the individual needs of a child with severe speech disorders. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign scientific sources, the content of the concept of "speech therapy support" is clarified, its structural components and basic functional tasks are determined. The leading role of early speech intervention as a condition for increasing the effectiveness of correctional and developmental work, which ensures the use of sensitive periods of speech development and the prevention of secondary deviations, is substantiated. Attention is focused on the need to combine speech therapy, psychological, medical and pedagogical influences within the framework of transdisciplinary interaction of specialists. The article systematizes the principles of speech therapy support, in particular, proposes modified principles for providing speech therapy support for young children with cerebral palsy. The importance of active participation of parents in the implementation of an individual child development program is emphasized. It is proven that the implementation of systemic speech therapy support contributes to the optimization of speech development, improving the quality of corrective care and successful social integration of children with severe speech disorders. It is determined that speech therapy support today is the basis for ensuring harmonious development, correction, and restoration of speech not only of children with severe speech disorders, but also of adults.
