Levels of support for children with rhinolalia in the educational process
Abstract
Today requires radical changes in the teaching and development of the educational process in an inclusive
space. To ensure equal access to quality education according to the standards, the Ministry of Education
and Science of Ukraine and the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the
National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine developed guidelines for inclusive resource centers to determine the category of educational difficulties for people with special educational needs support
in the educational process. The guidelines contain a description of educational difficulties and levels
of support according to the individual needs and abilities of students with special educational needs.
The differentiated approach to providing support for children with special educational needs has been
modified, a new form of individual program of development and determination of levels of support in the
educational process of children during inclusive education has been approved.
In this article, the author reveals V levels of support for children with rhinolalia. If students have
minor isolated difficulties that can be overcome through the efforts of the educational institution, they
may be provided with first-level support. If the efforts of the educational institution are insufficient,
parents will be advised to contact the inclusive resource center for a comprehensive psychological and
pedagogical assessment of personal development to determine its special educational needs. Even
then, it will be determined what level of support during the educational process can be provided to
such a student. In particular, the second level is provided to students who have difficulties of the
second degree of manifestation (difficulties of mild degree of manifestation). The third - is provided
to students who have difficulties of the third degree of manifestation (difficulties of moderate degree
of manifestation). Accordingly, the fourth is for people with PLO who have severe difficulties. The fifth
level of support is provided to students with the most severe manifestations. Children will be provided
with second- to fifth-level support determined by the specialists of the Inclusive Resource Center and
noted in the conclusion on the comprehensive psychological and pedagogical assessment of the child’s
development.
The above-mentioned rhinos will allow specialists to determine the level of difficulties of the child and
guide in the correct correctional work.
