Open Access Policy

The journal adheres to an open access policy in order to “make research results free of charge and accessible to everyone with internet access, and to promote progress in science and education,” in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative.

The editorial board supports the BOAI20 recommendations and UNESCO recommendations on open access, and strives to implement them in its activities.

Open access means that all articles published in the journal Exceptional Child: Teaching and Upbringing of the M. Yarmachenko Institute of Special Education and Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine are freely available for reading, downloading, and distribution through printing, sharing on social media, and similar means immediately after publication. Readers may also share and adapt them, provided that the journal and the articles are properly cited.

Attribution means that you must indicate the author and the journal, specify the type of license, and provide information about any changes made to the article, if applicable.
