Ethical aspects of research and data protection

The journal adheres to high ethical standards for research involving human participants, animals, or confidential information:

Personal and confidential data: Research involving the collection of personal data must strictly comply with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and international standards (including the GDPR, where applicable). Authors are required to confirm that informed consent has been obtained from all participants.

Documentary confirmation: The editorial board reserves the right to request copies of ethical approvals and consent protocols. The text of the article must indicate the name of the body that granted approval and the number of the relevant protocol.

In order to facilitate the preparation and timely defense of doctoral dissertations by postgraduate students, as well as to reflect their affiliation with the Institute’s postgraduate program, the following shall be established:

Postgraduate students studying on a contract basis and simultaneously employed full-time at other institutions or organizations shall be permitted, in scientific articles or other publications, to indicate as their affiliation the Institute where they are pursuing their postgraduate studies, instead of or alongside their primary place of employment.
