Psychological mechanisms of social adaptation of young people with disabilities
Abstract
Theoretical and empirical models of psychological mechanisms of social adaptation of young people with orthopedic impairments are researched in the article. The results of the fulfilled relevant empirical research are analyzed in details. According to the results of the experimental study, in particular its factor analysis results, three levels of personal adaptation / disadaptation of persons with orthopedic impairments have been identified. The number of factor structures in different categories of persons with orthopedic impairments has been identified: 3 factors of adaptive / maladaptive structures have been distinguished in young veterans of antiterrorist operation (ATO/OOS), 4 factor of structures in young people with life-threatening trauma, and 5 factor of structures in youth with congenital dysontogenesis. According to the results of the empirical study, a factor model of the dynamics of personality structures transformation in young people with orthopedic impairments was constructed and observed in the article.
