Abstract

The article examines the transformation of the professional image of a special education specialist under martial law, which causes radical changes in its substantive and structural direction. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the features of changes in the professional image and determine its key components in modern crisis conditions. A theoretical analysis of scientific sources, generalization and comparison of existing approaches to the problem of forming the image of a teacher are applied. It has been established that the professional image of a special education specialist is a multi-component system that includes cognitive, emotional-value, behavioral, visual and digital components that interact and determine the integrity of the professional image. The conditions of martial law have led to an increase in the role of digital competence, stress resistance, flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt, which significantly affects the restructuring of the teacher's professional identity and the nature of his professional interaction with participants in the educational process. It was found that remote forms of work limit the direct perception of non-verbal components of the image, but at the same time increase the significance of digital self-presentation, online communication culture and visual representation of a specialist in virtual space. This leads to a change in emphasis in the formation of a professional image and strengthens the role of the technological component of pedagogical activity. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the identification of specific transformations of the professional image in the conditions of a military context and a comprehensive consideration of its component structure taking into account modern educational challenges. The results obtained have practical significance for improving the training of special education specialists, developing their professional competence, forming effective self-presentation strategies and supporting professional resilience in crisis situations and increased workload.
