RESEARCH OF THE EMOTIONAL SPHERE OF PERSONALITY: SEMANTIC ANALYSIS

Abstract

In the article, a theoretical analysis of the problem of emotional development of the personality is carried out, theoretical and methodological aspects of the problem of emotional behavior are worked out, and approaches to understanding emotions and feelings are clarified. The author analyzed modern approaches and theoretical concepts that define emotions as a key aspect of psychological functioning. The content principles of psychodynamic, dimensional, cognitive, social-cognitive, and cognitive-physiological approaches to the study of emotions have been clarified. The role of emotional intelligence in the formation of the emotional sphere is determined, in particular, the systemic-structural and synergistic approach is described and the important role of emotional intelligence as the ability to experience, empathize and manage feelings is revealed. Features of emotional experiences are described, which play a decisive role in understanding the inner world of a person.

It is noted that the ability to realize and manage one's own emotions depends on the level of development of emotional regulation and its influence on interpersonal communication. Approaches to understanding emotional regulation are described, which determine the orientation of human behavior from the standpoint of the personal meaning of the situation. The ability to control one's emotions in socially acceptable ways was analyzed. The processes of increasing, maintaining or suppressing emotional activation are characterized. The role and functional factors of emotion regulation related to the satisfaction of primary and secondary needs and behavioral motives are substantiated. The important role of the development of the emotional sphere in the formation of social skills and the success of the individual in various spheres of activity and interpersonal relationships is defined.
